Eid-ul-fitr 2020

Eid is the word in Arabic that means joy, celebration and happiness. It is a purely religious holiday for Muslims, on which two Eids around the world are celebrated in one year. One is Eid-ul-Fitr and the other is Eid-ul-Azha. The Eid-ul-fitr is celebrated when Ramdan ends the fasting month, while the Eid-ul-azha is celebrated on the 10th Zill Haj after the greatest and most sacred sacred obligation "el haj".

No matter what oath it is, it is always the day of happiness and celebration for Muslims around the world. Since the Islamic calendar is the lunar calendar, the change in the month depends on the appearance of the moon, so observing the moon is the beginning of the celebration of the day of the oath. Since the eid-ul-azha is celebrated at 10 zill haj, this is decided in advance, but the eid-ul-fitr is very exciting as people know very well whether it will be 30 Ramzan days or 29.

The celebration of Eidulfitr begins with the observation of the moon. People always have special plans for the Chand Raat. After Aftari, the twenty-eighth day of Ramzan, people go to open places to look at the western horizon and locate the crescent. The cloudy sky may disappoint you, but in a clear atmosphere you do your best to discover the moon.

After seeing the moon, they kiss and exchange oath Mubarik. If the moon is not visible in any area, people remain restless and sit in front of the TV and wait for the official announcement. However, after the announcement, regardless of midnight, people leave their homes and visit relatives. Young people have their own way of celebrating Chand Raat, they take out their bicycles and start riding, and the whole city begins to vibrate with the roar of quiet bicycles.

Chand Raat is an excellent invitation to shopping madness. People rush to bazaars and behave ruthlessly in shops because Eid is exhilarating. Women cross the line of extravagance and men behave like lords by allowing themselves.

The hustle and bustle of teenage girls in the bazaars of Bangle and Mahndi shops, and this could be the most precious moment for boys who usually print Mahndi on girls' hands and forearms. Although Chand Raat is not part of the Eid holiday, it is part of the current trend and is celebrated by Muslims around the world. People stay busy until late at night and the markets remain open.

It is the day of celebrations and celebrations, but we often forget the basic spirit of this day. This day is a gift from Allah to Muslims who sacrifice their hunger and thirst for fasting. Fasting teaches us to take care of the poor always and especially on this day.
